Fertility and Motherhood Guidance From the New Moon

The New Moon in Pisces and the gifts she has for your fertility and mothering.

Pisces is about connecting with 'All That Is'.

This New Moon is a time when the veil between our 'visible reality' and the rest of creation is very thin….so we can connect with our commune with other parts of ourselves, others, animals and angels/guides (or whatever language fits for you) or your ‘yet to be conceived’ baby much easier now.

Not only that, but Pisces is inviting us to open up to the idea that you can connect with other parts of creation in a way that our modern society does not encourage or acknowledge is possible.

As you move into motherhood, now is the perfect time also to connect with aspects of yourself that are contributing to your current experience in your fertility and motherhood.

Since we are creating our reality with our thoughts, expectations and feelings…or the vibration that we are sending out to the Universe, then there may be some part of you ‘out of synch’ with your goal of claiming joy-filled motherhood and now is a great time to bring that into your awareness.

The New Moon in Pisces is also a reminder to dream a totally new reality into being. So now is the perfect time to really become clear about the details of your Utopia …your dream world in the future…. including your pregnancy, motherhood experience, your sacred family, education for your children, harmony with nature, abundance, peace in the world, living our passions, new energy sources, integrity in leadership etc.

I invite you to create a New Moon Vision Board, detailing exactly the kind of world you would love for you babies. You don’t need to know how it will come about, just allow yourself to dream big paving the way for you, your babies and grandchildren to flourish on every level.

The Full Moon in Cancer is the Mother Archetype. 

She is the Responsible Nurturer and very much aware of and concerned with creating a Nurturing environment in which her Family can thrive emotionally.

Cancer is concerned with Safety, Security, Comfort, Nurturing, Rootedness, but from a Feeling Perspective.

It is all about caring. We care because we Feel. And while the Feeling component has not been valued in recent centuries and millennia, it is core to Woman and to Mothering.

During the Full Moon in Cancer we are being invited to observe, notice and increase awareness of the enormous Value and Importance (the Full Moon Value and Importance) of Mothering, Nurturing and Feeling for ourselves and others.

Also, it is a time to be aware of the power and magic of Mother, and realize that EVERYTHING comes from a Mother and you embody that essence.

As you put our powerful attention on the value of Mothering and Nurturing you are not only attracting that experience into your own Sacred Family but creating a shift on planet earth in which Mothering is honored and held sacred.

Capricorn is the Archetype of the Father. It is the leader. When flowing with the gifts of Capricorn this manifests into ‘the Responsible Administrator of the Family’.

That family could mean your own family of origin or the one you are creating. But it could also refer to your business, a team you are on, your church, organization, state, country depending on what feels like family to you.

Capricorn makes the rules and respects them. It sees the value of rules. It is practical and goal oriented.

It does not display much emotion because it wants to maintain calm for everybody else. But it does feel deeply nonetheless.

Capricorn cares very much and wants to be ‘the Responsible Administrator of the Family’ so that everybody in the family can thrive.

Capricorn is most concerned with the Safety, Security, and Stability of the family.

As the new moon approaches you will probably notice issues coming up around ‘Responsible Administration of the family’, around setting and following rules and being practical and goal focused.

I invite you to reflect on how Capricorn energy can support Your Fertility and Your Sacred Family as we embrace 2012 and the new babies who are expecting to live in a world in which the rules really do allow all members to thrive.

Known as the Winter Solstice, in ancient cultures this was one of the most important days of the year.

Indeed, over 5000 years ago many temples and sacred sites were constructed around this day…or the moment of sunrise following the long, dark night.

I will be spending Christmas in Malta, a tiny island in the Mediterranean, which is dotted with sacred temples dedicated to the Goddess. On the Winter Solstice, in one such temple at Mnajdre, a very distinctive 'slit-image' is projected by the sun's rays on a large stone slab, estimated to weigh 2.5 tons within the temple.

Newgrange in Ireland too is home to a very impressive site. Above the entrance to the passage at Newgrange there is an opening called a roof-box. Its purpose is to allow sunlight to penetrate the chamber on the shortest days of the year, around December 21, the winter solstice.

These ancient architectural masterpieces were constructed with incredible precision by people who had an understanding of the mighty significance of these moments.

Night time has long been associated with the feminine energy, dreams, inner wisdom, insights, fertility, sexuality and reflection. It is a time for setting intentions into the dark soil so that they can manifest in the light that is returning.

You can connect with the wisdom of our ancestors and take the time now to set powerful intentions for the coming year. You are the creator of life and of your life. You can have anything you want including a baby regardless of your age.

Prepare now for the longest night of the year when the feminine energy is exceptionally powerful. Reflect on what you intend creating in the area of family and what needs to change in order for you to experience Sacred Family.

Thriving in motherhood is your destiny. Say yes to the magical support of the cosmos this Winter Solstice.

Pregnant even though she was a Virgin. Without the use of IVF, IUI or any other assisted fertility therapy (I presume).

Depending on where you were born in the world you may have grown up believing the Immaculate Conception to be a real event in history, never heard about it, could care less, or think it absolutely ridiculous.

Regardless of where your beliefs lie, I am wondering if the story of Mother Mary and the Immaculate Conception of her son has other powerful messages for us apart altogether from signaling the imminent birth of Jesus.

Could it be that the Story of the Immaculate Conception is in fact a lesson in the Law of Attraction… reminding us that when our thoughts, beliefs and expectations are a match to something (like pregnancy) that the law of attraction will bring it to you …if necessary in ways that others think are impossible.

When you are a match to your desires nothing can stop them from manifesting…including in this instance (intercourse or assisted fertility therapy)… factors that most of us assume to be absolutely necessary ingredients in order to make a baby.

The truth is The Law of Attraction is not limited in any way to bring to you your desires when you really believe that you can have them, expect that they will happen and trust that it will unfold (perhaps in unconventional ways).

In the Hebrew faith all young women are taught that they could be the one to bring the coming savior into the world. It wouldn't be strange, therefore, for Mary to have believed this could be true for her.

So Mary, a happy young woman, full of grace, totally trusting in the divine….perhaps not knowing what we know about reproduction (and not limited by these beliefs around fertility and pregnancy)….could indeed attract a virgin pregnancy.

With an understanding of the Law of Attraction, in my view, the Immaculate Conception is absolutely possible. It was possible then. It is possible today.
For somebody like Mary, like you…or anybody else who truly believes it could happen….

And indeed the final Full Moon of 2011 and the upcoming Winter Solstice, the Holiday Season and indeed the end of the year we are being given an opportunity to explore at a deeper level the whole idea of light, lightening up and of course celebration.

Celebration and how we experience that is unique to us all. We all seem to have our own personal Celebration Set Point. For each of us it will require a different level of input in order to really Celebrate.

While children naturally celebrate the tiniest of things. Over time many of us have learned that celebrating everything simply isn’t appropriate. Worse still, many of us have been brought up with the idea that only occasional events like a ‘win’ or some sort of ‘significant’ anchievement (whatever that means) are reasons for celebration.

We may have the idea that it is ok to celebrate others but not ourselves or it is ok to celebrate what has already happened but not what has not appeared yet in the physical.

These ideas and beliefs create within us a Set Point for Celebration and keep our attention focused on what ‘is’ in the physical as opposed to what ‘IS’ in the vibrational reality.

What is your Celebration Set Point?

Your Inner Goddess is celebrating constantly.  When we feel good in any way, we are in alignment with the Divine interpretation of what is unfolding. As I shared, children celebrate all the time. Pregnancy and birth are celebrated worldwide. When you  step fully into the energy of celebration you are powerfully attracting our baby!
For this Full Moon as we approach the holiday season take the time to consider what exactly your Celebration Set Point is to celebrate like the Goddess within!!

Visualizing great joy, love and abundance in Your Sacred Family!

This week we welcome the New Moon in Sagittarius.

Sagittarius is the Spirit of Truth. It is the Speaker and Seeker of Truth. It is not about what others (organizations, religions, cultures, family) perceive as Truth.

What Sagittarius is most interested in is to be Always Expanding the Horizons of Your own Personal Truth. So in this New Moon, you are really being invited to consider what is Your Truth and notice where you want to expand that.

Sagittarius is very positive and optimistic so you might find yourself questioning ‘Truths’ of society that you have to be or behave in a certain way in order to be a good woman, a good mother, a good partner, a good daughter.

This matters, because many of us are trying to live up to ideals (Truths) that have been created by others. Not only is this exhausting but in the process we are denying our own perfection as unique expressions of creation. ..and fighting our natural evolution and unfolding into who we came here to be.

This has an impact on our fertility and capacity to create sacred family because the message we are vibrating to the Universe as we try to conform is ‘Others know better’, ‘I cannot be or trust myself’, ‘I have to do this to survive’.

When living from this place, you are disconnected from your Inner Goddess guidance who is guiding you on your fertility journey into pregnancy success and any other success you want.

Sagittarius people do not necessarily make good householders/homemakers in the traditional way. You might find yourself wanting something in your sacred family, mothering and relationship that by traditional standards is not appropriate…not the Truth of what a good mother, partner or daughter looks like.

Give yourself permission to be with what comes up over the next few days and weeks. Intend to hear deeply Your Personal Truth as you align with your own brilliance, natural fertility and ability to create whatever you want in this amazing world…including your baby!

Happy Mother’s Day!

This week marks National Infertility Awareness Week in the U.S. and RESOLVE (the organisation behind this initiative) is inviting bloggers to Bust a Fertility Myth!

So, my intention here is this post is to Bust the Myth that IVF, IUI, Assisted Fertility and surrogacy or adoption are UnNatural ways of having a baby and creating your family.

Many of the women I work with really want to have their baby Naturally….without any outside assistance to support conception or implantation…and without requiring another woman’s body in which the baby can grow until he or she is ready to be born into this world.

It is clear that there is a very strong desire to have your baby Naturally in a world in which we  believe that Assisted Reproductive Therapy, IVF or IUI and surrogacy just don’t fall into that category.

And what I have found is that a lot of the pain that comes up around considering assisted fertility,  surrogacy or adoption stems from our notions of what is Natural and what isn’t.

We believe that Natural means …the way things happen as we see in nature….the way things have always been done….the way things occur without any medical intervention or assistance from others.

But that interpretation is not really accurate when one has some understanding about how the Universe works and what is  Natural from a broader perspective.
We are living in a Universe in which everything is expanding and growing….everything is changing all of the time. Even if it appears that something is static (like a mountain) it is in fact changing in every single moment.

Change and development is what is Natural and normal for everything in the universe. Indeed change is fundamental to life .

This applies also to changes in the ways in which we can conceive, create new life, have a baby and expand our families.

It is absolutely natural that these change.

It is part of healthy, normal evolution.

If anything, it is only our beliefs that conception, pregnancy, motherhood and fatherhood should happen in a particular way…the way they have always been……that are Unnatural.

You can have your baby. You can become a mother or father. And you can do it Naturally by embracing the idea that newness, change and evolution are the most Natural things in the world when it comes to baby making and creating new life!

So the next time you think of IUI, IVF, Assisted  Reproductive Therapy, surrogacy, adoption or any other way of creating family I invite you to remember and celebrate just how wonderfully Natural that is!
